Our Failure to Stop Iran Is Already Impacting Us

For years, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that if Iran attains nuclear weapons it will change the balance of power in the world.

Even now, before Iran has nuclear weapons a dramatic shift in Iran’s favor is taking place. This week, one of three major television networks in the United States, NBC, broadcast a two part portrait of Iran’s fanatical President. The shows were reported by senior correspondent Ann Curry.

The programs are nothing short of differential theater. Curry is dressed in traditional Islamic garb and she creates a portrait of this monster that is so far from reality that there is no journalistic justification for producing a two hour commercial for a man who has repeatedly threatened the destruction of the United States and Israel, who supplies arms to kill American soldiers, and who arms terrorists.
